The development team of the Arrive Alive website recently had the pleasure of attending a Web2.0 conference in Cape Town. We searched on-line for accommodation in Cape Town but found most of the hotels fully booked in advance for the Mining Indaba, held at the International Convention Centre.
We did however manage to find accommodation that wildly exceeded our expectations! At nearby Bloubergstrand we were not only right on the beach but had the pleasure of the views across to Table Mountain and Robben Island!
Many restaurants were within walking distance and offered a variety of food and drink. This added to my growing confidence that South Africa will be ready for the 2010 World Cup! I have previously written about the fact that the success of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will not be determined by politicians but rather by ordinary citizens. This was confirmed to me by my experience at the Sonskyn Guesthouse!
The friendliness and quality service offered by our hostess is what will leave an everlasting favourable impression on our guests! We would like to compliment these ordinary citizens who are owners and employees at guesthouses across South Africa for their contribution towards tourism in South Africa.
May they be blessed and recognized for their contributions to a South Africa we can all be proud of!!
