I would like to quote a short part of the State of the Nation address by President Zuma:
“Another development which should boost the World Cup is the roll-out of the digital broadcasting infrastructure and signal distribution transmitters.
Overall, we will ensure that the cost of telecommunications is reduced through the projects under way to expand broadband capacity. “
We have to ensure that we do not leave rural areas behind in these exciting developments.”
In South Africa we find that pedestrian deaths account for a large part of road fatalities. Many of our pedestrians in rural areas might not have access to broadband, but they do have cellular phones.
The Development team of the Arrive Alive website also developed and launched a new version of the Arrive Alive mobile website to try and reach more road users across South Africa. This is available at arrivealive.mobi
May this help all our road users in need of emergency info!!
