Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of an accident on the Mount Mooreland road that leads to the new King Chaka Airport. A 2 ton truck was transporting 14 workers along a gravel road when the driver lost control around a sharp corner and then plunged about 10 meters down into a ravine.
Two of the patients sustained serious injuries and 10 others had minor injuries. All the patients were transported to the Netcare Alberlito hospital for further treatment.
