Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of a very tragic event in Market Street just before the Leopold Street traffic lights in Durban. A white male in his 40’s was shot in the chest and his vehicle, a VW Touran came to a standstill on the road with the driver slumped over.
Paramedics was on scene within minutes of receiving the call, but sadly he had died due the severity of the gunshot wound.
Paramedics were even more saddened when they saw children car seats strapped in the back seat, knowing that there are now children who have lost a dad.
