Six taxis and a car collided on Black Reef road at around 16h34 leaving 13 people injured – 3 seriously so. Although the exact details of the accident are still speculative, the impact was such that 3 taxis and the car are damaged beyond repair.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene to find total carnage, and after stabilizing all the patients they were transported to various area hospital for further treatment.
