A man driving a Hyundai 1 ton delivery truck has been injured on the R114 outside of the Lion Park this morning, after rolling the vehicle off the road.

ER24 paramedics and the Advanced Life Support Paramedic from the Life Fourways Hospital found the patient lying next to the crushed vehicle. He had what appeared to be a serious injury to his shoulder and had sustained a possible broken collar bone. The man in his 30′s was found lying on the side of the road lying on his stomach and was in severe pain.

The reason for the driver and only occupant of the vehicle rolling his car is not clear, but it appears that the man was ejected from the truck’s cabin as it rolled.

After being stabilised treated and stabilised at the scene, the man was taken to the Life Fourways Hospital for further treatment.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
