Mtubatuba accident leaves man dead

A man has tragically died after he was hit by a truck on the N2 near Mtubatuba this afternoon. Reports indicate that the man was trying to run across the highway and underestimated the distance and speed of the truck.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the unresponsive man lying on the roadway, tragically he died before our arrival.
