This weren’t a rear end accident. The taxi was travelling on the N17 in the direction of Leandra between other vehicles. A black Pajero travelled in the opposite direction near the Nigel-Delmas offramp. Next moment the taxi swerved into the oncoming traffic. The Pajero swerved to the left to avoid a head on collission and the taxi hit him front right, leaving the Pajero spinning off the road, nearly colliding into the Ford Territory that was travelling behind it. The Territory went left off the road, avoiding the taxi colliding into it after the taxi hit the Pajero. The taxi missed the Territory by mere inches before coming to a standstill in the bushes behind the Territory, facing direction as on this photo. Meanwhile the Territory had to again swerve out for the spinning Pajero which came to a halt in the bushes a few metres in front of the Territory, both facing in their original travelling direction. According to the driver of the blue taxi, there was a red taxi which suddenly hit the brakes in front of him and he swerved out into the oncoming traffic to avoid hitting the red taxi. All we saw was the taxi swerving into the oncoming traffic and hitting the Pajero as described. The accident happened 9/2/2013 appox 11:25 and there was no stationary vehicle involved in the happenings as stated in report above.
