N3 Mooi River accident leaves five injured

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N3 north bound by Mooi River this morning just after 07h00.

Upon their arrival on scene they found that a heavy goods vehicle had rear-ended a light delivery vehicle. Five men were injured, four seriously so.

After they were treated and stabilised on scene, they were transported to various hospitals, including a Netcare hospital, for further medical care.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
