South coast Cash-in-transit accident leaves three injured

Three people were seriously injured after a Cash-in-transit vehicle overturned on the N2 just before Murchison on the South Coast. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Netcare 911 and the provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and found three guards at the side of the road. After the injured were stabelised and skillfully immobilized on trauma boards, Medics transported them to a hospital in Port Shepstone for the care that they required.
