Earlier this afternoon emergency services on the KZN North Coast attended to a Motor Vehicle Collision
The collision occurred on the N2 north bound in the Umvoti area and was between a truck and light motor vehicle. KZN EMS paramedics as well as medics from several private ambulance services responded to the scene at about 15H00 today, where sadly they found that two people had been killed in the collision! There were another four people, who had sustained serious and minor, injuries, who the paramedics treated. The patients were transported to Stanger hospital by the paramedics from a private ambulance service.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by the Police.
With today’s public holiday, making it a long weekend for some, motorists are urged to please drive cautiously and to be extra vigilant for people traveling on motor cycles.
