Woman critically injured in vehicle rollover at Maseru Border

A woman in her forties was left critically injured after the vehicle she was travelling in overturned along the N8 near the Maseru border in the Free State yesterday.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and discovered the mangled vehicle stationed in the veld alongside the road.

The injured woman was seated in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, conscious but in immense pain.

Paramedics discovered that her right had been amputated during the collision.

She was immediately stabilised and rushed off to Pelanomi Hospital to receive urgent medical care.

There were no other vehicles or individuals on scene.

Officials are conducting the necessary investigations.
