Five vehicle collision on the M1 in Marrion Hill leaves eight injured

A five vehicle collision on the M1 in Marrion Hill, KwaZulu Natal, has left eight people injured this morning.

ER24 paramedics from the Hillcrest branch arrived on scene and found all five vehicles in the middle of the lane. All five vehicles, including three taxis, had rear-ended each other.

On assessment, paramedics found eight patients walking around on scene. Fortunately the patients had sustained only minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to St Marys Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
