Eleven injured in taxi collision – Amanzimtoti

Eleven people were injured this morning after a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle on the M37 in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and both light motor vehicles blocking the middle of the road. The occupants from the taxi and light motor vehicle were found sitting around the scene.

On assessment, paramedics found that eleven people had sustained only minor injuries in the collision. Fortunately no-one had sustained any serious injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to various hospitals for further observations.

Local authorities were on scene to begin their investigations.
