5 Injured in roll over crash

Five people have been injured one seriously so after two vehicles collided at the corner of Argyle Road and Windermere Road on Friday evening around 10pm.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that two vehicles had collided in the junction before one overturned leaving two occupants entrapped in the wreckage. The Durban Fire Department was called and once the patient had been stabilized by Rescue Care Advanced Life Support paramedic was then cut free from the wreckage using hydraulic equipment. Once freed the patient was carefully extricated before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Once all five patients had been stabilized they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
