A woman and two men were left critically injured this morning after their car rolled at the intersection of the N12 and Greyhound in Klerksdorp.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene, and on their arrival, they found a light motor vehicle lying on its side up against a tree.
On assessment of the scene, paramedics discovered that two man patients lay partially trapped underneath the vehicle in a critically condition. The female patient lay a few metres away in a critical condition.
Paramedics and rescue services immediately began to treat the patients and retrieve both patients from beneath the vehicles. Once freed, all three patients were treated and provided with advanced life support interventions.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll multiple times and ejecting the occupants.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
