Four people were injured this afternoon, including a 14-year-old boy, when a vehicle left the N4 highway and crashed into the bushes, 90 km outside from Upington.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the vehicle amongst the bushes. Three occupants were found out of the vehicle while the female driver was found seated inside.
On assessment, paramedics found that all four patients had sustained moderate injuries in the collision.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Dr Hary Surtie Hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the tyre burst on the vehicle, causing the driver to lose control.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
