Two people were injured this morning after a light motor vehicle rear-ended another on the N2 highway near the airport in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics were returning to their branch when they were flagged down by a motorist.
On inspection, paramedics found that two light motor vehicles had been involved in the collision.
A man and a woman, both believed to be in their 40s, were assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Vincent Palloti Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
