On Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a pedestrian crash along North Coast Road near Lorain Road in Durban. Exact detail top the cause of the crash is still speculative and will remain a subject for police comment.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a thirty-year-old-female lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries. The Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic and the ambulance crew worked fervently to stabilise the critically wounded woman. After she was placed on a manual ventilator, they immobilised the patient on a trauma board before she was transported to a specialised facility for the care that she required.
