A man in his 30s was injured this morning after his vehicle was rear-ended on the N2 Hospital Bend Road in Cape Town in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 08h30 this morning and found two light motor vehicles parked on the side of the road.
Paramedics assessed one of the drivers and found that he had sustained moderate injuries to his face.
It is understood that the driver was standing in front of his vehicle when it was rear-ended by another, causing the patient to hit the bonnet of his car face first.
The man was treated by ER24 and thereafter transported to Groote Schuur hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities will be investigating further.
