Three injured in collision on North coast/Queen Nandi


Crisis Medical paramedics responded to a call shortly after 10:10 this this morning for a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of North Coast Road and Queen Nandi Drive.

On arrival paramedics found that a bus had collided with a bakkie along with a light motor vehicle. The driver of the bakkie, a male of 39 years old sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and stablalised on scene by Crisis Medical

Paramedics, along with the assistance of other services before being transported to hospital where he would receive further care. A passenger of the bakkie, a male of approximately 35 years old and a female occupant of the third vehicle both sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital. The were no reported injuries to those travelling in the bus.

According to eyewitness reports, the bus attempted to jump the red traffic light causing the vehicle to collide with the bakkie and then the light motor vehicle.

All the necessary authorities were in attendance and will be investigating the incident further.
