More than 20 injured following a collision involving two busses Old North Coast Road


More than twenty commuters have been left injured following a collision involving two busses at the intersection of Chris Hani and Old  North Coast Roads this morning.

Marshall Security were alerted to the incident by members of the public just after 7am. A call was made for the assistance of Netcare 911 emergency care practitioners who attended to the casualties, with injuries ranging from minor to serious, on the scene, before transporting them by ambulances to various hospitals in the greater Durban area.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision, however the necessary authorities were on scene and will investigate further.

Traffic in the area was severely affected and the necessary traffic officials were on scene to assist.
