A woman has died and another has sustained moderate injuries after two vehicle’s collided with each other on Christian De Wet road near Clearwater Mall in Roodepoort.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found that the driver of one vehicle’s had already died – she was still entrapped in her vehicle.
The woman was declared dead on scene by a Netcare911 paramedic.
The other driver, also a lady, sustained moderate injuries.
She was treated by another emergency service and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Motorists are advised to avoid this area.
This incident happened this evening at about 21h20.
