Kempton Park Flash Floods leaves man seriously injured

A homeless man was left seriously injured after he was swept away by flash floods at the corners of Vlei and Pretoria Road in Kempton Park in Johannesburg.

ER24 paramedics, along with the SAPS search and rescue, immediately responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, search and rescue teams immediately searched the river for some time before they found the man.

Once the man was brought to the banks of the river, he was immediately assessed by ER24 paramedics.

It was found that the man was in a serious condition and required immediate treatment.

The man was treated for his injuries and thereafter transported to Tembisa Hospital for further treatment.
