3 suspects were arrested in Klawer with a substantial quantity of drugs in their possession

Western Cape: Our endeavours to tackle the provincial crime generators in line with our mission to ensure that offenders are brought to justice paid off last night when three suspects were arrested in Klawer with a substantial quantity of drugs in their possession.

In a joint effort SAPS members assisted by Provincial Traffic stopped a BMW at the Klawer weigh bridge and conducted a search of the vehicle which led to the discovery of 19.25 kg of dagga and 200 mandrax tablets valued to the tune of R50 000.

The three suspects aged 18, 22 and 49 are due to make a court appearance in Van Rhynsdorp on Friday on a charge of dealing in drugs. The vehicle used in the execution of the crime was also confiscated.
