15 people were left injured this morning following a taxi rollover on the R103 Harrismith Road, approximately 10km outside of Ladysmith in KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi lying on its roof on an embankment. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found seated on the side of the roadside.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that 15 people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were later transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
